Julie Chen Moonves, who was among the first hosts and moderators of The Talk (a Daytime Emmy Award award-winning talk show) was back on the air August 5 for the 22nd edition. However, her true passion came when she added writing to her roles and earned an Emmy for this. Also, she was awarded the Emmy for hosting and outstanding comedy talk show. She co-hosted the CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 between 2002 and 2010. Her prior roles included anchoring the CBS Morning News and The Early Show.
